A CELEBRATION OF COLOUR, INFUSED WITH THE ARTISANAL EXCELLENCE OF MURANO GLASS AND THE MAISON'S TIMELESS CODES.
Acqua

This festive season is a rhapsody of light and colour as Acqua di Parma unveils its Holiday Collection, imagined by architect and designer India Mahdavi. The collection is a polysensorial journey through Mahdavi’s playful codes, combined with the artisanal excellence of Murano glass by Salviati, a historic glassblowing furnace founded in 1859.

“My collaboration with Acqua di Parma is the result of the encounter of my imagination with the know-how of the talented masters at the Salviati Furnace – When the might of the hand magnifies the might of the mind, the magic is revealed. This whole collection, from the packaging to the limited-edition bottles, is an ode to the beauty of the making, to the perfection /imperfection of the hand, which invites the customer to experience a polysensorial journey.”

LIMITED AND NUMBERED EDITIONS

The limited and numbered edition series of Murano glass bottles, inspired by the Maison’s iconic Art Deco designs, is created to enhance the 180ml Acqua di Parma fragrance experience. Featuring five colourways and three patterns, the bottles with coloured glass details are crafted using Salviati’s traditional techniques perfected over more than a century, embodying the Venetian Murano tradition. Each piece is moulded from liquid light and carries subtle variations, making it truly one-of-a-kind.

Alongside these exceptional bottles, Acqua di Parma presents a collection of individually numbered Murano glass vases. The creation process shows a balance of skill and precision. Through the art of glass fusing, vibrant colours are shaped and embellished by master glassblowers, transforming molten glass into sculpted works of art. Both the glass bottles and vases bear India Mahdavi’s signature, Acqua di Parma’s logo, and come with a certificate of authenticity, guaranteeing their creation by Salviati. Completing this season’s showpieces is a set of three Murano glass baubles. The colours chosen for the Murano collection include amber and yellow— solar hues that not only reflect the brand’s identity but also capture the vibrant essence of Italy’s sun. These shades symbolize the ‘frutti d’oro,’ such as lemons and oranges, which are carefully selected and handpicked before being distilled.

Green represents the aromatic notes found in the collection, reminiscent of natural herbs like rosemary and bergamot. Parme, a lilac shade, is a nod to both the brand’s name and the French color ‘parme.’ India Mahdavi reimagines this color by infusing it with watercolor-like elements and ‘Acqua,’ drawing inspiration from Acqua di Parma. The design cues of the Murano masterpieces are then interpreted as gold foil patterns that embellish the complete holiday collection which includes curated gift sets. Seasonal exclusives include the Bosco, Panettone, and Caminetto candles and diffusers, featuring vibrant gold stripes, tartan, and sprinkled patterns for a holiday season full of colour and cheer.

Bosco is inspired by the crisp forest air and the enchanting scent of fir trees. Caminetto evokes the warmth of a roaring fire, with notes that blend warm incense and enveloping touches of amber. Panettone captures the iconic scent of the traditional Milanese festive dessert, beloved worldwide. A coveted holiday bestseller, the Maison’s annual Advent Calendar arrives in a handcrafted box shimmering with gold-sprinkled patterns, offering an exciting daily discovery of Acqua di Parma’s magic throughout the holiday season.

With India Mahdavi’s distinctive design language and penchant for colour, combined with the beauty of Italian craftsmanship and Acqua di Parma’s Arte di Vivere, the Venetian Holiday collection is an invitation to embrace the festivities with a sense of wonder and joy—the joie de vivre.
