From the moment we arrived by speedboat, greeted with refreshing drinks and warm Maldivian smiles, it was clear this resort was something extraordinary. The overwater villa, poised elegantly above the turquoise lagoon, was a masterpiece of design and comfort. With a minimalist aesthetic that embraced natural materials and panoramic glass windows, every corner of the villa felt like an invitation to relax, recharge, and reconnect.The villa’s layout was designed with both privacy and immersion in mind. The spacious bedroom opened up to a private infinity pool and a deck that descended directly into the ocean,a perfect setup for early morning swims and starlit dips. Inside, the soothing tones, plush bedding, and thoughtful amenities created a haven that made it hard to leave. The bathroom, with its ocean-facing soaking tub, rain shower, and luxurious toiletries, turned even simple routines into spa-like rituals.

Service at the Ritz-Carlton Fari Islands was impeccable, yet never intrusive. Our dedicated Aris Meeha (a personal host unique to the resort) was always a WhatsApp message away, ready to arrange a sunset dolphin cruise, in-villa dining, or a last-minute snorkeling session. Their attention to detail and sincere hospitality elevated every moment.Dining was a highlight in itself. The resort’s culinary offerings ranged from sophisticated Japanese fare at EAU to the vibrant Mediterranean-inspired dishes at Beach Shack along with Summer Pavilion, which specialises in modern Chinese cuisine.Breakfasts were leisurely affairs by the beach, complete with fresh tropical fruits, flaky pastries, and made-to-order favorites. Each meal was a sensory delight, with flavors that complemented the island’s natural beauty.Arabesque offers a vibrant culinary journey through the flavors of Lebanon, North India, and the Levant. Set under a tented pavilion, a ten minute boat ride away from the main resort island, it features mezze, grilled specialties, and aromatic spices in a warm, lantern-lit atmosphere,perfect for Middle Eastern guests seeking familiar tastes in an exotic island setting.
