Inspired by the unhurried rhythm of the French Riviera, the new identity celebrates the spontaneity of the hours between the working day and dinner, when plans are still open and there is no particular reason to rush. The restaurant and bar's much-loved early-evening ritual, returning with a new identity and five new cocktails. Available Monday to Friday, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. At the heart of Le Grand Détour are five new cocktails, each offering a different expression of the new menu. Martini Marinière combines gin, sea distillate, a vermouth blend, smoked onion and parsley, Garden Spritz brings together St-Germain, Fino Sherry and fig leaf soda. Wild Harvest Sour pairs gin and Mastiha with lemon, black tomato, blackberry and salt, while Sundown Rosita blends Reposado tequila, vermouth, Campari and artichoke. Situated in the heart of DIFC dining destination, the new offering brings together Shanghai Me’s signature Alchemy cocktails, classic cocktails, selected wines, spirits and more, paired with Pan-Asian bites inspired by the restaurant’s Chinese and Japanese influences, made for sharing. From effortless bites of their signature pocket-sized dumplings to timeless classic cocktails reimagined with a modern twist.
