Bordelle Debuts at Harrods

British luxury lingerie brand Bordelle has officially arrived at Harrods, unveiling its latest collections within the iconic department store’s newly expanded 16,000 sq ft lingerie and loungewear destination. The recent launch marks a defining homecoming moment for the brand, founded by Alexandra Popa in 2009, and known globally for its architectural silhouettes and avant-garde design language.

Now available on the first floor of the Knightsbridge landmark, Bordelle brings with it two standout collections: Siren and Theia, both of which channel the brand’s signature interplay of bold femininity and structural finesse.

“Launching Bordelle in Harrods marks a powerful moment in our brand journey,” says Popa. “The Theia collection was designed with Harrods in mind. This partnership represents everything we stand for: elevated design, innovation, and impeccable craftsmanship.”

Siren arrives with wave-inspired embroidery layered in scale-effect printing and glimmering pearlescent finishes. Rendered in Raspberry, Denim, and Black, the collection is set on recycled tulle, a nod to the brand’s continued commitment to sustainability and advanced fabric techniques.

Theia, named after the Greek goddess of light, features bespoke embroidery and sequin work designed to shimmer with movement. The intricate motifs echo sea anemones and reflections on water, finished with Bordelle’s signature satin strapping and 24k gold-plated hardware in Black and Cream tones.

With its roots in the UK and its pieces now available in over 25 countries, Bordelle’s Harrods debut highlights its status as a leader in experimental luxury bodywear. Each design is handmade in the brand’s Transylvanian production atelier.

Bordelle’s Harrods arrival is a statement of intent from a brand rewriting the language of lingerie with power, precision and quiet provocation.
