Cannes 2025: High Jewellery Highlights from the Red Carpet

As it does each year, the French Riviera once again transformed this May into a breathtaking canvas of glitz and glamour. Set against a cinematic backdrop of palm-lined promenades and Mediterranean sunsets, Cannes 2025 showcases red carpet splendour like no other, unveiling a glittering display of rare gems, heritage craftsmanship and masterful design.

Model and global fashion muse Valery Kaufman lit up the red carpet in Sartoro Genève’s Trilogie High Jewellery collection. Reflecting her sophisticated yet modern sensibility, the collection highlighted three iconic diamond cuts: round, emerald and pear. Each stone echoed Sartoro’s mastery of balance between classic elegance and architectural clarity.

Saudi entrepreneur and style icon Lama Alakeel made a statement in the bold and poetic Peacock collection by Sartoro Genève. Inspired by the hypnotic beauty of the peacock feather, the intricate diamond arrangement mimicked the fluidity of nature while celebrating empowered femininity.

Masoom Minawala, celebrated entrepreneur and fashion influencer, was seen in a breathtaking diamond necklace from Tanishq’s Middle East Collection. Inspired by the flowing elegance of a rainforest river, the handcrafted piece was a tribute to Indian heritage, translated into modern design.

Maison Boucheron once again ruled the Cannes red carpet with creations that blurred the lines between sculpture, legacy and adornment.

Julianne Moore was a vision of French modernism in the Goutte de Cristal earrings and Vendôme Liséré ring, shimmering white gold and emerald-cut diamonds brought architectural purity to her understated glamour.

K-pop star Han So-Hee dazzled in the Lierre necklace and ring, drawn from the Histoire de Style: Untamed Nature collection. Encrusted with diamonds and cabochon rock crystal, the set evoked raw beauty with a refined edge.

Zhou Dongyu stunned in the Rosier necklace, set with exceptional pear-shaped D FL type IIA diamonds, the result of over 2,300 hours of meticulous craftsmanship. Her look was completed with Lierre pendant earrings, merging tanzanites and diamonds in a lyrical dance.
