Lakmē Fashion Week x FDCI opened its 2025 edition with a dazzling showcase by Anamika Khanna for her prêt label, AK|OK Anamika Khanna. Celebrating 25 years of beauty, fashion, and self-expression, the event was nothing short of spectacular, with Khanna’s Silver Collar collection redefining power dressing for the modern woman.

Seamlessly blending contemporary elegance with timeless craftsmanship, the collection drew inspiration from Lakmē’s newly launched 9 to 5 Hya-Matte range, designed for the unstoppable, confident working woman. The pieces - marked by structured silhouettes, intricate detailing, and a modern take on Indian draping - captured the essence of strength and femininity.

Lakmē’s muse Indian actress Ananya Panday, closed the show in a striking ensemble that reimagined the saree with bold yet fluid tailoring, embodying the spirit of grace and empowerment. The runway itself, an elevated sleek platform, reflected the collection’s narrative of confidence and modernity.
