CLAP Dubai, the leading contemporary Japanese destination located in DIFC, enters the first phase of its culinary evolution this September, unveiling a new business lunch menu and an exclusive selection of signature dishes by CLAP’s newly announced Chef Partner, Reif Othman. These specials provide a preview ahead of the full A La Carte menu in November, bringing an authentic and craft driven expression to its contemporary Japanese dining experience.
Launched this week, the business lunch menu, HIRU GOZEN, presents a creative selection of Japanese dishes, served Monday to Friday from 12pm to 5pm. Highlights include Salmon Tataki with shichimi lime soy, lightly seared Angus Beef with tahoon mayo, Grilled Seabass, and Itame Ramen with vegetables and sweet spicy sauce. To finish, guests can choose between the signature CLAP Chocolate Bar, filled with milk chocolate, lotus cream and caramel peanut, or an exotic fresh fruit basket.
Developed under the culinary direction of Chef Reif Othman, the specials menu showcases the bold energy of CLAP intersecting with the culinary craftsmanship of Reif. Standout dishes include the Premium Tartare with Otoro, caviar, hamachi & truffle, Mushroom Gyoza and thinly sliced Spanish Octopus. Signature mains feature Angus Beef Tenderloin and Oven-Baked Wagyu Short Ribs while dessert brings a final touch of CLAP’s signature playfulness, with the CLAP Chocolate Bar alongside a delicate Matcha Pillow, marrying the restaurant’s distinctive contemporary Japanese identity with Reif’s considered approach to the cuisine. CLAP x Chef Reif’s Exclusive Selection will be available daily from 5pm, and from 7pm on Saturdays following brunch.
These menus mark the beginning of a broader culinary evolution for CLAP, introducing a refreshed, renewed and elevated culinary chapter. Later this year, the new à la carte menu will be unveiled furthering the creative direction established through the partnership with Chef Reif.
