This holiday season, Diptyque invites the world into a Parisian dreamscape with “A Night of Wax and Gold,” a whimsical collection that bridges art, fragrance, and storytelling. Inspired by the literary cafés of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, the collection captures the Maison’s signature blend of imagination and craftsmanship.
Created in collaboration with Vincent Puente, Victor Pouchet, and Inès Mélia, the series brings together surreal illustrations, poetic design, and playful narrative—a sensory homage to Diptyque’s artistic roots.
A Fragrant Icon Reimagined
At the centre of the story lies Sapin (Pine Tree), a beloved Diptyque holiday icon. The scent evokes the aroma of freshly cut pine, layered with balsam fir, cedar-wood, and moss, creating an atmosphere that feels both festive and timeless.
This signature fragrance takes form across limited-edition creations—from hand-poured candles and Murano-glass diffusers to gold-flecked scented ovals—each one embodying Diptyque’s vision of fragrance as fine art.
Objects of Wonder
Completing the collection is a series of decorative and gifting objects that elevate holiday rituals with a touch of Parisian magic. The storybook-inspired Advent Calendar, golden Carousel, and limited-edition Eaux de Parfum—including Orphéon, Do Son, and Fleur de Peau—offer moments of discovery and delight.
Alongside porcelain trays, hand-blown glass ornaments, and imaginative paperweights, each piece transforms the home into a setting worthy of a fairy tale—an elegant celebration of tradition, artistry, and the poetry of scent.
