At the heart of the project is the Brasil, one of Diadora’s most iconic designs, reinterpreted through Dolce&Gabbana’s unmistakable aesthetic language.
Originally launched in 1984, the Brasil has become a symbol of authenticity and performance, earning its place both on football pitches and in everyday style. For this collaboration, the historic silhouette is presented in two distinct versions: a high-performance football boot and the Brasil ID, a lifestyle sneaker designed for the street.
The collection combines Diadora’s technical expertise with Dolce&Gabbana’s bold creative vision. Clean, monochromatic lines are energized by striking leopard-print details, creating a balance between elegance and dynamism. The result is a statement design that captures the spirit of a new generation, one that embraces fashion as a form of self-expression.
Performance remains central to the football model. Crafted in soft nappa leather, the Brasil features signature stitching engineered to enhance ball control, an anatomical footbed for flexibility and comfort, and the advanced SOFTY PRO 91 sole, designed to deliver maximum responsiveness on the field.
The Brasil ID translates this sporting legacy into a contemporary sneaker. Featuring ultra-soft leather, visible stitching and the iconic folded tongue detail inspired by classic football boots, it offers a seamless blend of heritage and modern style. Available in full-grain leather with leopard-print pony hair accents or in an all-over animalier version, it embodies the bold character of both brands.
The Dolce&Gabbana x Diadora collection will be available from June 8 in selected Dolce&Gabbana boutiques, online and at specialist retailers worldwide.
