Marco Abaton, founder of Abaton and creator of the Chinotto collection, explains that the line was born from the desire to capture “all the charm of the Savona chinotto, from the flower to the fruit.” Chinotto Gourmand, he says, celebrates the mature fruit, turning it into a fragrance that is “playful, lively, and delicious,” inspired by the tradition of candied chinotto and crafted to balance freshness with sweetness.
The composition opens with luminous orange blossom: bright, delicate, and sun-kissed. At the heart, the zest and leaves of fully ripe chinotto (harvested when they glow deep orange and release their vibrant aroma) intertwine with creamy Madagascar vanilla.
