Winter 26 is Ffern’s latest seasonal Eau de Parfum, a winter release that draws its inspiration from Britain’s rugged coastline, where land, sea, and sky meet under a cold, unforgiving light. It is a fragrance that captures the atmosphere of wild shores in winter, balancing elemental austerity with moments of quiet warmth.

The opening is sharp and windswept. Timut pepper glints like moonlight on dark water, brightened by lemon rind and aromatic eucalyptus, while cardamom adds a green, spicy lift. These notes evoke the first breath of sea air: bracing, clean, and alive. As the fragrance develops, a more nuanced heart emerges: violet leaf and lavender suggest damp coastal landscapes, while mimosa introduces a honeyed glow, reminiscent of a lighthouse beam cutting through fog. Jasmine sambac lends a soft, restrained floral depth, grounding the composition without softening its edge.

In the base, Winter 26 becomes darker and more contemplative. Black tang seaweed brings a saline, almost mineral intensity, anchored by oakmoss and fir balsam. Sandalwood, patchouli, and vetiver add structure and persistence, leaving a trail that feels earthy, mossy, and quietly enduring.

Winter 26 is less about escapism and more about immersion: a seasonal fragrance that finds beauty in rawness, solitude, and the steady calm that follows the storm.
