There are perfumes that they tell an idea, a character, a vision. Nerosa by Laboratorio Olfattivo was born precisely with this intention. Created in 2011 together with perfumer David Maruitte, it was initially considered too bold to be part of the brand’s collection. Today, however, it finds its natural home within the “Laboratorio in Nero” line, where intensity, richness, and depth define the brand’s olfactory language.

Roberto Drago, Co-Founder of Kaon and Creative Director of Laboratorio Olfattivo, describes the inspiration behind the fragrance:

“With Nerosa, the idea was to combine three ingredients that all want to dominate within the formula. The regal strength of rose, the vertical power of saffron, and the commanding sensuality of oud. It is difficult to make them coexist, yet in Nerosa, David Maruitte managed to ensure that each ingredient is able to express itself within the harmony of the composition.”

The opening ignites with a spicy blend of saffron, clove, and nutmeg, wrapped in the resinous depth of labdanum and the smoky nuances of guaiac wood. At its heart, an intense rose, free from any stereotype, meets ylang ylang and geranium. The base unfolds into a dense, sensual trail driven by oud, amber, leather, patchouli, vetiver, and sandalwood, leaving a powerful and unforgettable signature on the skin.

Nerosa is a rose that does not whisper: it dominates, it captivates, it remains.
