Into the Garden

Ariana Grande has always believed in magic, and Swarovski has always known how to make it real. The first Ariana Grande x Swarovski capsule established the language; the second - co-created once again with Swarovski Global Creative Director Giovanna Engelbert, brings it alive. Where the debut collection leaned toward the timeless and the classic, this one moves without hesitation into something more personal; a fantasy garden, an aurora-lit universe - a world, as Engelbert puts it, that she and Ariana created together.

The collection's visual world is anchored in nature at its most theatrical. Dragonflies and flowers appear in both literal and abstract form, glittering across 29 pieces that span jewellery, brooches, hair accessories and figurines. Rainbow-hued stones sit alongside delicate crystal pearls, butterfly motifs land on unexpected surfaces, and the shifting iridescence of the Aurora Borealis, that particular quality of light that cannot quite be named,  is translated into crystal play across an array of cuts and mixed-metal settings.

"The fantasy-garden imagery and the inspiration of the Aurora Borealis, with its shifting light and iridescent colours, are translated into the jewellery through crystal play, delicate pearls, and refined craftsmanship," Engelbert explains. "It's about emotion, transformation and magic."

Ariana Grande, who has spoken about wanting the collection to bring colour and wonder into everyday life, is present in every choice: from the dreamy palette to the belief that beauty exists everywhere, if you really pay attention. "We wanted to remind people to appreciate the beauty that constantly surrounds us," she says. The campaign, captured by longtime collaborators Mert and Marcus, translates that intention into image: Grande at the centre of her garden world, radiating the particular confidence of someone who has stopped performing joy and simply arrived at it.

Swarovski did not choose Ariana Grande for her fame. They chose her because she means it - and that sincerity, is what gives this collection its particular quality. You feel it in the palette, in the scale of the motifs, in the decision to put a crystal butterfly on a hair clip and treat it with the same seriousness as a statement necklace.
