WELCOME TO FRENCH FASHION SPORT

Lacoste has been crafting silhouettes balancing between fashion and sport for 90 years. Today, the brand is adding a very French ambiance to the equation, revealing a whole new look.

A FRENCH TAKE ON FASHION SPORT

Freedom. Creativity. Simplicity. For spring-summer 2024, Lacoste is introducing a new look elaborated by Pelagia Kolotouros, the brand’s Creative Design Director: an elegant aesthetic that continues to celebrate Lacoste’s legendary savoir-faire. The silhouettes, inspired by René Lacoste, feature iconic pieces unveiled over the 90 year heritage mixed with more contemporary essentials. This evolution marks a turning point: the style of the crocodile brand remains ‘fashion sport’ but it is moving towards a more French sophistication. A new chapter is beginning.

NEW SIGNATURE SILHOUETTES

The color palette is articulated around the brand’s highly recognizable codes. Worn in monochrome or mixed together, soft or vibrant colors soften or shake up the Lacoste wardrobe. Suits are revisited in supple, sporty fabrics, mixed shirts and polo shirts that bear the crocodile logo - also seen on knitwear pieces, including cardigans, V-necks and zip-up sweaters. Women’s and men’s pieces coexist to create neo-heritage, layered silhouettes. These new codes punctuate the entire collection. The men’s wardrobe is part sport with joggers, part timeless with trench coats and striped polo shirts. Layering is key in creating this signature French fashion-sport silhouette. The same goes for women: a piqué cotton bodysuit is embroidered with the famous crocodile and worn with an immaculate tracksuit jacket. A navy varsity jacket with a big ‘L’ embroidered on the chest is paired with a 70s-inspired skirt. These symbols of the brand’s savoir-faire are testimony to the meticulous work involved in the materials and cuts.

ICONS & NEW ACCESSORIES

V-neck sweaters, polo shirts, tracksuits and varsity jackets: the essentials developed over the last 90 years, and redesigned for today, are combined with new styles. The Lacoste wardrobe is rounded out with new accessories: a mini golf bag, inspired by the archives of Catherine Lacoste (daughter of René Lacoste and a golf champion). The new 2K24 is the latest addition to the L003 footwear family. Underwear that is no longer hidden, but subtly revealed thanks to an elasticated belt – for both men and women. A scarf, with an all-over print designed by Robert George (René Lacoste’s best friend) mixed with modern sunglasses, completes a contemporary silhouette while embracing its heritage. French elegance at its best.
