La Perla Has Celebrated Their Icons In New Style Led Campaign For Every Woman, Every Day #IconsWearingIcons

For its latest campaign, ICONS WEARING ICONS, luxury Italian intimates’ brand, La Perla, has curated an edit of the most-loved pieces from its signature lines – Maison, Petite Macrame and Silk.

The brand celebrates ICONS via an irreverant style-led campaign starring women wearing La Perla their way, expressing their individual personality and highlighting that every day, every woman is iconic - #IconsWearingIcons.

The ICONS styles range from the brand’s staple Silk pyjamas, Petit Macramé short slip dress and triangle bra to Maison camisoles and separates, including La Perla’s signature bra style, and Maison long slip dress. Encapsulating a spirit of timeless charisma and confident elegance, these ICONS can be worn in a multitude of ways.

An ode to self-expression, The ICONS WEARING ICONS campaign heroes the concept of mixing La Perla with the wearers own wardrobe items, whether that be with jewellery, a classic blazer or jeans. La Perla celebrates women as their own Icon and to wear pieces their way - dressing without limitations from day to night. Imbuing the wearer with confidence, the ICONS styles draw attention and admiration wherever they go - worn in ways that reflect a womans own exterior personal style & inner personality.

The ICONS are formed of La Perla’s signature pieces, brand staples which form an integral part of its story, re-invented and innovated season upon season. Made with the upmost care, they are a physical representation of La Perla’s rich Italian artisanal heritage and a true expression of the house's expertise, dedication to revolutionary craftsmanship and luxurious quality.

66 years since La Perla was first founded by visionary corsetiere Ada Masotti and 26 years since she designed the first Maison pieces, La Perla still embodies Ada’s mission: to intimately understand and empower the female form through beautifully crafted designs. A woman ahead of her time, Masotti established La Perla in 1954 in Bologna, Italy. She revolutionized the lingerie industry with the ultimate in craftsmanship. As women evolved over the decades, her designs for La Perla always evolved with them – to this day, the brand continues her legacy.

La Perla tapped into French agency Maison Nue and photographer Vito Fernicola to translate their modern heritage to today’s woman.

Maison

Maison, La Perla’s most treasured and timeless collection, to this day is still handcrafted in the Bologna atelier where it was born, made with Italian silk satin from Como and finished by hand with an antique and intricate Florentine ‘Frastaglio’ embroidery technique.

Petit Macramé

La Perla’s Petit Macramé signature application was appreciated by founder Ada Masotti for its delicate, swirling effect across the skin. Much like the intricate aesthetic of these fine knotted threads, these styles personify La Perla’s precious, romantic persona.

Silk

Unanimously loved, La Perla’s Silk line is superbly comfortable and feels incredibly soft against the skin. Made from pure silk satin, the styles are effortlessly chic and can be worn to sleep in or as a luxurious separate during the day.
