MANS FALL-WINTER 2023

Through the seasons, Mans has presented collections that explore the spectrum of masculinity through its radiating charisma, a spark of spontaneity and youthful playfulness.

Like being invited into a kaleidoscope of prints and eye-catching colours. This season the idea, instead, is to create a cohesive and compelling collection with a focus on the essentials. No gimmicks and no overthinking.

Modern-minded garments to wear for the day or night un-fussifying the dialogue between colour, texture, and form articulated through the tailored looks and layered details. The balance, or maybe more so the play between fitted and loose, nonchalance and restrained. The Fall-Winter 2023 collection accentuates the beauty and versatility of basics, giving the freedom to mix and match and express ones’ own identity and diversity.

A lineup of elevated everyday pieces; crisp cotton shirts, knits, trousers, overcoats, and an array of tailored jackets - an inherent characteristic of Mans. Some whose construction is more traditional with a classic crossing reminiscent of the school jacket or a double-crossing as well as the Mans Classic with a ’20s inspired eight boutton sleeve vent. Since minimalism and the discard of abstractions is at the center of attention in the collection the chest pockets are eliminated and the closures are concealed. With or without a lapel the jackets over the flowing trousers are impeccably-cut and create a sleek look - traditional fit on men, and oversized on women.

Earthy tones are mixed with shades of blues as luscious sunset hues with contrasts of brightly-colored mohair knits, elegant yet cozy. Recurring throughout the collection is the use of cotton. Light to heavy-weight, the pieces maintain a disciplined silhouette. Shiny bristling leather-like fabrics give a metallic effect; a beautiful simplicity, like the reflection of light bouncing between skyscrapers in the city. Oversized woollen coats complete the looks as a comforting hug during the colder season.
