Mete Altinkaya Debuts ICB Verse in Venice with a Gatsby-Era Glow

ICB Verse’s international launch unfolded in Venice with a Great Gatsby–style gala at the historic Ca’ Sagredo Palace, staged during the Venice Film Festival, a city and a moment where art, cinema, and elegance converge. More than a party, the evening served as a statement of intent: a new era blending technology, education and culture into one immersive movement.

ICB Verse is positioned as a living metaverse city, a hub for knowledge, innovation, and global dialogue. Inside this digital world, students can attend lectures by leading professors, interact with AI recreations of historical figures in the Fame Hall, and contribute their own expertise to an evolving community. The proposition: turn learning into an engaging, interactive experience that feels inclusive, inspiring and dynamic.

The gala was conceived as a manifesto for that vision. Fifty hand-selected guests, from cultural influencers to digital creatives, gathered for a candlelit dinner beneath frescoed ceilings, with live music, crystal and gold on the tables, and couture looks channelling the 1920s. Among the attendees: Tamara, Katie One, Paola Cosentino, Nima Benati, Farhana Bodi, Morena, Ekin Su, Maja, Nadine, and Farah Abdel Aziz. Dogal Wines powered the evening, elevating the Gatsby mood with a refined, celebratory touch.

What set the night apart was the conversation it sparked: cinema, art, and technology in dialogue with education and innovation. For many, it was a first glimpse of how the metaverse and AI could sit naturally within cultural life.

The event also marked the launch of ICB Nights, a series of intimate global gatherings planned for iconic destinations including St. Moritz and Cannes. Each edition promises a blend of celebrity, luxury settings, and the ICB Verse ethos: celebrating the future of education with the same passion reserved for fashion, film and art.

Reflecting on the debut, Mete Altinkaya said: “ICB Verse was born to give education a new language, one that speaks not only to the mind, but also to culture, community and creativity. By bringing together cinema, art and technology, we are writing the first chapter of an educational revolution.”

As the final notes faded and the Grand Canal shimmered beyond Ca’ Sagredo, the message was clear: ICB Verse arrives as a grand movement of reimagining education as lifestyle, celebration and community.
