Murphy&Nye together with Vibram

Murphy&Nye unveils an exceptional partnership with Vibram, the global leader in high-performance soles, launches a collection that perfectly merges maritime heritage with contemporary innovation.

The collaboration gives life to two new models, OPTIMIST and Deck, footwear that reinterprets the brand’s seafaring spirit with modern elegance, combining style, comfort, and reliability without compromise. Both designs are defined by the exclusive Vibram sole, engineered to deliver superior grip, optimal traction, and absolute stability on any surface, even in the most challenging conditions.

OPTIMIST, inspired by the iconic dinghy, captures the allure of the sea beyond the deck: a versatile sneaker created for those who embrace life with movement, curiosity, and confidence. Its clean, contemporary lines reveal a technical soul, with an upper crafted from premium suede and durable Ripstop for softness, lightness, and resilience. Elastic laces with a stopper ensure practicality, while silver-finished eyelets add a refined nautical touch. Deck, meanwhile, reimagines the timeless boat shoe with a modern, functional twist.

The combination of suede and Ripstop creates a perfect dialogue between craftsmanship and technology, while double laces recall mooring ropes and silver eyelets enhance its sophisticated aesthetic. Completing both models, the Vibram sole ensures grip and control from sea to city, offering performance and poise with every step.

“With the collaboration with Vibram, we wanted to go beyond Murphy&Nye’s maritime tradition, transforming it into a contemporary language of design, functionality, and freedom of movement,” explains exclusively for L’Officiel Arabia designer Chicco Barina. “The Vibram sole is the technical heart of the project, conceived to guarantee superior traction and unmatched stability. Optimist and Deck are made for those who live each day as a new route to explore, with authenticity, confidence, and unmistakable style.”
