Newby Teas Has Unveiled World’s First Tea Majlis for Connoisseurs in Abu Dhabi

Offering tea connoisseurs and enthusiasts an immersive experience like never before, the Majlis, located at Nation Towers, invites guests on a journey to discover the heritage, provenance, and character of rare tea blends from around the world.

The Newby Tea Majlis serves three categories of teas, including Speciality Teas such as Royal Kahwa, Rare Teas like Delicate Oolong from the misty mountains of Taiwan, and Ultra-rare Teas like Gulshan, a blend of rare black and green tea.

From the Victorian era antique silverware on display, to the hand-painted tea cups, pure amber tea ware, and art from the exclusive Chitra Collection, every detail within the majlis has been curated to embody the glory of the ancient tea culture. Guests can relax in a serene lounge area or conduct business in a sophisticated business lounge. The Majlis can also be transformed into a larger event space for bigger gatherings, without compromising on quality or uniqueness.

Newby Teas has created an opulent oasis, amidst the hustle and bustle of the city reflecting on the authentic practice of social gatherings in the Emirati culture. With bespoke interiors, including ceiling lights hand-made to resemble tea leaves and an undulated ceiling fixture that beautifully represents the ripples created when brewing the perfect cup of tea, the Majlis offers guests a one-of-a-kind experience.
