The vision behind No Homme is the brainchild of three seasoned hospitality and business innovators - Massimo Shayegan, a global finance and business expert; Piero Giglio, a luxury dining authority; and Carmelo Cannata, a visionary entrepreneur. Together, they bring a wealth of expertise, reimagining the private club experience with a fresh, contemporary twist that speaks to Dubai’s dynamic, ever-evolving elite.  

L’Officiel Arabia speaks with the co-founders of No Homme to discover how they plan to redefine exclusivity, connection and luxury in one of the world’s most forward-thinking cities.

Delna: In today’s world, luxury feels like it’s more about experience and exclusivity rather than just opulence. How do you personally define true luxury, and in what ways does your club bring this vision to life?

Massimo Shayegan: True luxury today is about seamlessly integrating every aspect of a person’s lifestyle into one refined space - where privacy, personalization and exceptional service come together effortlessly. Our club embodies this by offering a fully integrated experience that merges world-class wellness, business, and hospitality within a single destination. Members can transition from a private spa treatment to a business meeting, followed by a fine dining experience, all in an environment that feels like a home away from home.

Delna: Each of you brings unique expertise to this venture. How have your different backgrounds influenced the business model and execution of this project?

Piero Giglio: The foundation of this club is built on the combined expertise of three industry leaders- Massimo Shayegan, Carmelo Cannata and myself – and each of us brings a distinct, yet complementary skill set. Massimo, with a background in finance and business, has been instrumental in shaping the club’s overall structure and exclusivity. Carmelo, a renowned expert in beauty and wellness, has crafted an unparalleled wellness experience tailored to the needs of our members. And myself, with my deep experience in hospitality and fine dining, ensuring that the food and beverage offerings set a new benchmark in luxury. Together, our vision has created a space that seamlessly blends business, lifestyle, and wellness—setting a new standard for private members’ clubs.

Delna: Can you share some of the bespoke experiences and services that will set your club apart for its members? 

Carmelo Cannata: Absolutely! Our club is designed to offer highly personalized experiences, ensuring that all member’s unique preferences are met. Wellness is a key pillar, with private spa, gym, and salon services available at the highest standards. In addition, our concierge service will cater to members' individual requests, whether within or outside the club. Members will also have access to curated events, including Cigar & Wine nights, Jazz evenings, and exclusive speaker sessions. Each experience is designed to align with our members’ lifestyles, creating a community that goes beyond just a club.

Delna: You mentioned that wellness is a key pillar of the club, and in today’s fast-paced world, it’s becoming increasingly essential - especially for high-performing individuals. How do you see wellness evolving in elite business circles, and how does No Homme integrate it into members' lifestyles?

Carmelo Cannata: We have seen that wellness has become at the forefront of our members’ needs. As the world becomes increasingly stressful there’s a sense that wellness has gone by the wayside. So we strongly believe that having the wellness aspect is a key factor for our members and to have it readily available. As we have the spa aspect as well they will be able to efficiently access the best treatments embedded in their daily routines. It’s become a very exciting market sector and we see our members enhancing their health and wellbeing while staying on top of their daily lives.

Delna: Can you share some key business lessons you’ve learned along the process of establishing this venture?  

Massimo Shayegan: As Dubai has become the epicentre of luxury and entertainment, there’s been a lot to learn about the current needs and perhaps what the market has been missing. Because there’s such a high level of expectation here, we have been able to pinpoint exactly the needs of our members who are at the top of their respective fields and be able to cater to their every need. From past experiences, we have been able to fine tune what tastes really hit with our members to make the best F&B offerings. We see in the market that there hasn’t been an effective place that feels like home to be able to complete a full day's work load. And finally we haven’t seen yet a venue that offers this with a top of the line spa allowing to have a multitude of treatments.

Delna: How do you see the luxury hospitality landscape evolving over the next decade? 

Piero Giglio: Right now, we’re witnessing a shift towards more exclusive, highly personalized offerings designed to seamlessly integrate with and enhance people’s daily lives. The traditional concept of luxury hospitality is being redefined, moving beyond just opulence to a model that prioritizes convenience, flexibility, and holistic lifestyle experiences.

More and more high-level professionals and elite individuals are embracing remote work, with no fixed office or base. This means that true luxury will no longer be about just a destination—it will be about adaptability, creating spaces that cater to every need, whether for business, leisure, or a seamless blend of both.

We believe our members’ club will be at the forefront of this evolution, disrupting the conventional model and setting a new standard for what an exclusive, high-end hospitality experience should be. We expect to see a rise in luxury venues that offer not only premium service but also unparalleled value, flexibility, and tailored experiences that fit the modern elite lifestyle. As pioneers in this space, we anticipate others will follow, but we are determined to be the first to bring this vision to life.
