Launched in 2021 by the Saudi Fashion Commission, the Saudi 100 Brands initiative empowers emerging Saudi designers to develop their fashion, luxury and jewelry businesses, providing them with the best tools to grow their label in both local and international markets.
Now, for the first time, the initiative is bringing a curated selection of Saudi brands to Paris Fashion Week and Haute Couture Week, with dedicated, state-of-the-art showrooms, as well as a series of celebratory events showcasing the most exciting Saudi creative talent to a global audience.
Multibrand showrooms in two prestigious locations will host brands from the Saudi 100 Brands initiative, revealing the true diversity of the contemporary Saudi fashion scene, with both established and emerging brands presenting their collections in an innovative set-up.
Burak Cakmak, CEO of the Fashion Commission, said: "With such a grand showcase of Saudi fashion taking place across Paris Fashion Week, we are helping our designers take their well-deserved place on the global stage. From couture, to menswear, to jewelry and accessories, we invite all to discover what Saudi fashion has to offer. I’m confident that our guests will leave feeling inspired by the next generation of Saudi designers who are pushing boundaries through their timeless designs.
Projected to grow to more than $32bn by 2025, Saudi’s fashion scene is being led by local brands and emerging designers.
We are committed to building this forward-looking fashion industry by amplifying the talented voices and culture of Saudi Arabia and expanding our worldwide reach."
