Milanese jewelry house Pomellato hosted an exclusive Gala Dinner to celebrate its Light and Reflections project, in collaboration with Venetian Heritage. The initiative has contributed to the funding of a state-of-the-art illumination system for the façade of the Ca’ d’Oro - ‘Golden House’ in Italian. Located on Venice's Grand Canal, the Golden House is famous for its exquisite open-work marble façade – partially gilded in the past – and the reason for its nickname. To honor the occasion, Pomellato created the Venetian Dream, a one-of-a-kind, diamond High Jewelry necklace whose design is inspired by the iconic Gothic palazzo. Pomellato is proud to once again partner with Venetian Heritage; the international foundation, chaired by Valentina Marini Clarelli Nasi, dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the artistic legacy of Venice.

At the Gala Dinner held at the early-Renaissance Palazzo Contarini Polignac, guests enjoyed a special performance by Laura Marzadori, the first violinist of the Milanese Teatro alla Scala. The masterful Venetian Dream necklace was unveiled for the first time on beautiful display with some of the brand’s iconic jewelry collections. Celebrities, press, and KOLs were treated to a gourmet dinner by Michelin-starred chef Massimiliano Alajmo, and then it was time for the reveal of the newly illuminated Cà d’Oro façade – the first of its kind for a palazzo overlooking the Grand Canal.
