Imagining the City of Light submerged in soft blankets of pure white snow, the visual campaign features French actress Camille Razat photographed by Marcin Kempski. The Emily in Paris star is depicted in the centre of a cinematic white landscape, where Haussmanian buildings and scrolled iron streetlamps are joined by the playful spirit of a white squirrel carved in ice and snow and watched over by a crescent moon.
The 2023 Holiday Collection is presented in two chapters in November and December, just in time for the festive season. Myriad party propositions add a sparkling accent to holiday and New Year’s Eve celebrations around the world, from buckled black-and-white loafers accented with tweed to delicate sandals and pumps frosted with crystal blooms. Pearlescent metallic textures abound in pale candy pinks and washed golds to silver, ivory and black, seen in ‘I Love’ stiletto pumps, ‘Trompette’ peep-toe mules and flat ‘Très Vivier’ Mary-Janes.
Adorned with classic tonal embellishments, evening bags in textured tweed, silk satin and metallic leathers feature noble expressions of French savoir-faire. Flower Strass buckles are a recurring detail on structured frame bags and soft pouches alike, whilst a spiral ‘torchon’ chain-covered top handle is adorned with dazzling crystal accents. Festooned with clustered pearls or graphic grids of rhinestones and sequins, surfaces and hardware alike are transformed through decoration into glittering objets d’art, with matching statements of craft seen across headbands, handbags, jewellery and shoes alike.
The spirit of the Roger Vivier ‘Paris in the Snow’ 2023 Holiday Collection extends throughout selected flagship stores and boutiques worldwide with dedicated window dressing and in-store displays. Hand-painted mirrors depict snowy Parisian rooftops and glittering snow drifts display the collection in organic platforms reinterpreted from Paris to Shanghai, Tokyo, London, New York City and beyond.
