A desire to travel and to be able to do it with the mind: this is where the new experience for fans of the Ferragamo world fits in. Not only ferragamo.com, which has recently been given a makeover, but also the opportunity to enter into the two hearts that Salvatore Ferragamo holds dear: the product, fundamental in its craftsmanship and sophistication, and art, a key feature of the history of our founder and a seed sown for the future.
The Augmented Store 360, the virtual tour of Ferragamo boutiques, is an innovative, interactive experience compatible with augmented reality devices in which shoppers are immersed in the collection, moving from room to room within the store and interacting with the products to see details, gather information and even order items from the online store.
The project will be available from early July on the ferragamo.com website and directly at the following links: Women’s store and Men’s store.
Augmented Store 360 will be piloted at the recently renovated Via Condotti boutique in Rome and subsequently rolled out at other prestigious flagship stores around the world. Dreaming about shopping has never been so real. #FerragamoVirtualStore
From stores, our journey will also extend to Florence and the Ferragamo Museum. Thanks to 360° high-resolution images, videos and information panels, the sections of the Sustainable Thinking exhibition at Museo Salvatore Ferragamo in Florence, on until 16 January 2021, will be open round the clock for viewers visiting directly from their personal devices. They will just need to visit ferragamo.com or go directly to this link.
An exclusive tour, available in both Italian and English, accessible from all over the world, will take us through an exhibition space filled with works by artists and creatives and the sustainable materials of the specialized firms that have collaborated with us for the show. A unique opportunity to discover (or rediscover) the close link between the brand and art.
Starting from mid-July, visitors can book guided tours available on demand, for a fully interactive experience in which a guide leads guests through the museum. Until the end of 2020, the virtual project will also involve a series of webinars and talks by curators, designers and artists.
Products and art, therefore, can be viewed, listened to and experienced, allowing us to get back to dreaming and experiencing a new reality, the goes beyond the virtual world. One that is more us, more Ferragamo.
