The event, spearheaded by the Saudi Fashion Commission and MoCX (the Saudi Ministry of Culture's General Department of Innovation), hosted a group show with six young Saudi creative talents from the Saudi 100 Brands program – Torba Studio, Hindamme, Mazrood, Noble & Fresh, 1886 and Not Boring.

Saudi female rapper, Beast, and London-based Laughta performed alongside musicians from the National Orchestra, organised by the Saudi Music Commission.

Following the fashion show, emerging Saudi designers from the Saudi 100 Brands initiative will exhibit their ready-to-wear designs in a pop-up open to the public in the center of Paris8 Rue de Francs Bourgeois, from June 23 to July 1, 10am-8pm everyday.

Burak Cakmak, Fashion Commission CEO, said:

“It’s been incredible to see Paris’ response to Saudi fashion this week.

“Our industry is growing at lightning speed and the world is now taking note – we have a diverse group of designers who effortlessly blend their Saudi heritage with the contemporary to create pieces that fashion lovers would wear on the streets of Paris, New York, Milan and so on.

“We would love to see friends old and new at the pop-up event to enjoy a warm Arabian welcome and browse pieces from our up-and-coming talent.”
