As a Gen Z student raised in the UAE and studying the US, I spend a significant part of my day with headphones on. On the long flight back home, on subways, while walking to class, or while putting dinner together at my dorm. So when Sony announced three new wireless headphones, covering every price point and every kind of listener, I paid attention.
This September, Sony refreshed its wireless headphone lineup with the WH-1000XM4C, the WH-CH730N and the WH-CH530, a premium, mid-range and entry-level option respectively. In short, now, there is a Sony headphone for everyone.
WH-1000XM4C
The WH-1000XM4 is already one of the most celebrated headphones. The WH-1000XM4C updated sound tuning, a 10-band equaliser for personalised listening, and features three new colour options - Black, Platinum Silver and Lavender. The noise cancellation is still the USP. The comfort factor is the main reason people wear these headphones. Especially those who want to disappear into your music on a commute, a flight or a long study session, this is still the best headphone.
WH-CH730N
The WH-CH730N brings noise cancellation to a more accessible price point, adds a new lightweight foldable design, improves call quality with AI-powered noise reduction, and delivers fifty hours of battery life with a quick charge that gives you an hour of listening in three minutes. As someone who doesn’t always remember to charge my devices,, that last detail can be very useful. This range is available in Black, White, Pink, Beige and Blue.
WH-CH530
The WH-CH530 is Sony's entry-level range and is available in six colours - Cobalt, Coral, Mint, Pink, White and Black. It has fifty-five hours of battery and also features AI noise reduction for calls. Designed for first-time wireless headphone buyers, students and everyday listeners, it is lightweight and comfortable.
Whether you listen to music practically all day or just a bit every day, Sony has a set of headphones that will suit your needs.
The Sony WH-1000XM4C, WH-CH730N and WH-CH530 are available now in the UAE.
