Sprayground, the travel fashion brand known for turning utility into art, is making a dramatic entrance at Dubai Airshow 2025. The brand will debut an 11-meter gold helicopter art installation and a six-meter Sprayground pop-up hangar at SkyView, the Airshow’s exclusive public festival.
Set against the roar of aerial displays and the desert skyline, the installation is poised to be one of the most talked about attractions of the week. It brings together fashion, technology and aviation in a way that feels futuristic and unmistakably Sprayground. The result is a visual statement that captures the excitement of flight while celebrating bold design.
Created by David BenDavid, the visionary behind Sprayground, the golden helicopter reimagines luxury aviation through an artistic lens. It blends aerospace silhouettes with the brand’s streetwear identity, producing a piece that sits between sculpture, installation and fashion moment.
“At this year’s Dubai Airshow I am unveiling one of my most daring creations. An 11-meter gold helicopter connected to a six-meter pop-up shop. This immersive installation turns the spirit of travel into an experience, bringing our world of creativity, luxury and style to life,” said David BenDavid. “Dubai’s rise as a global arts and fashion hub makes it the perfect canvas for this activation. This city celebrates innovation and self-expression in the same way Sprayground does.”
Positioned at SkyView from November 17 to 21 at Dubai World Central, the golden rotorcraft stands as a symbol of freedom, innovation and adventure, all central to the brand’s DNA. Visitors will be able to step inside the connected pop-up hangar to explore the latest travel bags, limited edition backpacks and fashion accessories.
The activation reinforces Sprayground’s mission to push the boundaries between fashion, art and technology. The brand has consistently delivered experiences that spark imagination, and its presence at SkyView brings a streetwear-forward twist to one of the most dynamic aerospace events in the world.
This debut follows Sprayground’s high-energy showcase at London Fashion Week, where the brand presented its first UK runway show at Freemasons’ Hall. The presentation featured Phoenix Brown, Jack Fox, Virginia Bates and Roxy Horner, all embodying the bold and expressive style that defines the Sprayground universe.
Sprayground first caught the world’s attention more than fifteen years ago with the “Hello My Name Is” backpack. Founder David BenDavid drew from his childhood and the streetwear and art culture he grew up in, channeling that energy into a label that now influences a global audience.
