Sicily has always been Dolce&Gabbana's emotional home, and for the Men's Spring/Summer 2027 collection, Vacanze Siciliane, the beauty team took that connection to the skin. The result was a runway full of men who looked like they had spent the morning swimming in the Mediterranean and arrived in Milan with a glow. Sea and stone, shadow and sunshine, structure and spontaneity, the beauty direction followed the same instinct as the collection itself: natural, relaxed and luminous.
The look across the runway was consistent in philosophy, it was a fresh, out-of-the-sea glow achieved through a layered, skincare-first approach that let the complexion do the rest of the work. Skin was prepped with the Glow Bounce Ceramide Cream for a plumped, hydrated base, followed by the Bergamot Glow Primer to enhance luminosity and hold the look in place. The Blueberry Nutri-Tint delivered buildable, breathable coverage across three shades, Light Medium, Deep and Medium, a deliberate range reflecting the collection's celebration of every skin under the Sicilian sun. The Face&Eyes Match bronzer added depth and definition along the natural contours of the face, imparting a seamless, sun-kissed warmth that looked lived-in rather than applied. Lips were finished with the Icy-Touch Lemon Balm.
What gave the beauty direction a modern feel was its restraint. In men's beauty, the instinct is often to either do too much or aim for a ‘nothing has been done’ look. Dolce&Gabbana has aced the space in between, and presents the man who looks like he cares for his skin without making a fuss about it. And frankly, if this is what he looks like on holiday, every man should be taking notes.
