This summer, bridal aesthetics in the Middle East are blossoming with emotion, creativity and a subtle shift away from tradition. While classic silhouettes and soft whites continue to charm, 2025 brings an elevated approach, with flowers who do the talking.
L’Officiel Arabia speaks with Rey Querido, Lead Florist at Flove UAE Studio and verified seller on Flowwow, the global gifting marketplace known for spotlighting local floral artisans. With 18 years of experience designing bespoke floral creations across the Middle East, Rey unveils the top five bridal floral trends defining this season’s weddings.

1. From Perfect to Poetic

Gone are the days of tightly structured bouquets and rigid symmetry. 2025 brides are choosing floral compositions that feel looser, lighter, and more like art than ornamentation; graceful asymmetric, unexpected pairings, and bouquets that breathe.
“Asymmetrical arrangements convey freshness and freedom,” says Rey. “It’s about capturing emotion rather than adhering to rules. The bouquet becomes a story in itself.”
2. Colour That Speaks for You

White and blush will always be bridal staples, but this year, colour becomes a canvas for personality. From sunset tones to moody mauves, brides are curating their florals like personal mood boards.
“We’re seeing bouquets that reflect who the bride is - her spirit and her vibe,” says Rey. “It’s no longer about what’s ‘on trend’, but what resonates deeply with her.”
3. In-Season and Sensibly Sustainable
Sustainability is soon becoming a bridal must. Across the GCC, eco-conscious couples are opting for seasonal blooms that thrive in the region’s climate, like gloriosa, celosia, Holland hydrangeas and dahlias. “Not only do these flowers hold up better in the heat, but they also align with the spirit of the moment,” notes Rey. “It’s about celebrating when you’re getting married, not just where.”
4. Sculptural Minimalism
Minimalist weddings are having a high-impact moment, with single-flower arrangements taking centre stage. Whether lining the aisle, gracing reception tables, or accenting the altar, mono-floral designs feel luxe and considered.
“White orchids, ranunculus, calla lilies, freesia, and especially premium roses are reigning favourites,” says Rey. “They photograph beautifully, last longer in the heat, and create that effortless elegance Gulf brides love.”
5. Florals as a Love Language
The most standout trend this summer is quite easily, intentional floristry. Bouquets and décor now go beyond aesthetics, as every bloom carries a meaning. Whether it’s a flower from the bride’s childhood garden or a shade that symbolises a shared milestone, each choice is deliberate and intentional. “Modern couples more focussed on curating a meaningful experience,” says Rey. “Their flowers reflect their journey, values and the people they love most.”
In 2025, wedding florals in the Gulf are all about heart-led luxury, going back to the old-world adage of saying it with flowers. At Flowwow, flowers are more than a gift or ornament of decoration, they tell a story and stand as a statement of presence, love and celebration, all crafted by local hands and delivered with purpose.
