Personally curated by Mr.Armani himself, the exhibition highlights the evolution of a style that has remained unmistakably his, where pure forms and luxurious fabrics celebrate the contemporary present, reaffirming that authentic fashion is, by nature, timeless.

First presented in 2005 in Paris, the capital of Haute Couture, the Giorgio Armani/Privé collection was born from a vision of modern creativity. Characterized by refined lines, exquisite craftsmanship, and gem-like embroideries, Armani/Privé has always stood apart as a distinctive interpretation of the Armani style, complementary yet different from ready-to-wear, united by a shared language of elegance and restraint.

With his couture work, Giorgio Armani dares to explore new creative horizons. He conjures distant places, evokes poetic atmospheres, and experiments freely yet always remains grounded in the needs of a sophisticated clientele. His approach is both visionary and concrete, as he continues to dream and invite others into his world of gentle elegance even when recreating the magic of Hollywood nights through red-carpet masterpieces.

Now, Armani brings these dreamlike creations to Milan—his creative home—where they can be admired up close. The exhibition offers a sensorial journey through the entire Armani/Silos, enhanced by a specially created fragrance, Bois d’Encens, emblematic of the ARMANI/PRIVÉ Haute Couture Fragrances, and an original soundtrack composed by L’Antidote.

Light serves as the exhibition’s guiding thread - both as a metaphor for inspiration and as a physical element- that enhances surfaces with pearlescent and moon-like brilliance, recalling rare and precious stones.

Featuring a curated selection from twenty years of collections, the couture gowns are displayed in a sequence that reflects an evolving yet coherent visual language rooted in Armani’s core values.

“In my Haute Couture collections, I express my vision of style and elegance through  the art of craftsmanship and savoir faire: only here can I do so without limits. Twenty years of Giorgio Armani Privé have been an astonishing, liberating journey, which I now wish to share with a broader audience bringing them with me into this waking dream of garments made of fantasy and grace. A precious world that, through this exhibition, becomes a moving surprise,”
said Giorgio Armani.

The exhibition “GIORGIO ARMANI PRIVÉ 2005–2025: Twenty Years of Haute Couture” will be open to the public from May 21 to December 28, 2025, at Armani/Silos, Milan.
