In a world that hypes busyness and celebrates constant connectivity, it’s often our nervous systems that bears the brunt. Between deadlines, doomscrolling and the weight of unspoken pressure, moments of true mental stillness have become a rare luxury. The good news is that a growing number of people are beginning to honour the power of slowing down. Tapping into this much-needed shift is a new collaboration in Dubai: Organic wellness brand Heveya® and the Theatre of Digital Art (TODA) at Souk Madinat Jumeirah have launched the first in a year-long wellness series, one that reimagines what immersive healing can look and feel, like.
Set within TODA’s iconic 360° dome, the ‘TODA Wellness x Heveya®️ – CloudMat Series’ welcomed a thoughtfully curated group of wellness practitioners, media persons and thought leaders for a deeply transportive sound and breathwork experience. Led by certified sound therapist Vera Kamaeva, the session was designed to soothe the nervous system and release stored emotional tension, an invitation to be still, even briefly, in a city that feels like it’s moving on roller-skates.
Guests experienced a few moments of calm under a digital forest projected across the full dome ceiling, as they were supported, both physically and energetically, by Heveya®’s Cloud Mats, made from 100% organic latex and natural cotton. Thoughtful additions like aromatherapy, eye masks and curated wellness tools elevated the experience into multisensory moments of peace, so rare to capture ordinarily. Guests were served ceremonial matcha by Health Nag, allowing time to reconnect and reflect, bringing the relaxing launch event to a grounding close.
