VENEZIANICO: Absolute Black Makes Its Debut on the Nereide Ultrablack

Now a key element in the DNA of the Venetian watchmaking brand, the Musou Black™ paint, developed in 2020 by Koyo Orient Japan Co Ltd, absorbs 99.4% of light, transforming the dial into an absolute black; a feature that could not be missing in the iconic Nereide collection.

Almost a year after its debut in the Redentore Ultrablack, this mysterious and magnetic noncolor has quickly become a distinctive feature of the brand, thanks to numerous requests from the growing community of enthusiasts and followers of the brand.

With the aim of evoking the same emotions as its predecessor while maintaining its enigmatic and attractive temperament, simultaneously strong and determined, Nereide Ultrablack features a 42mm 316L stainless steel case with clean and elegant lines, boasting a dual polished and satin finish.

The anti-reflective sapphire glass is accompanied by a rotating bezel with a steel insert, devoid of indices and numbers, to emphasize the watch's minimalist and essential identity, except for a single triangular marker engraved on it.

The dial, treated with the Japanese paint, creates an effect of absolute black without any shadow or reflection, except for the brand logo inspired by the cross atop the Clock Tower in Piazza San Marco in Venice, and the hands treated with BGW9 Super-LumiNova® that stand out against the black and compact background.

Water-resistant up to a depth of 200 meters, Nereide Ultrablack boasts the solidity and reliability of the Seiko NH35A automatic movement and is completed with a high-quality nylon "NATO" strap that gives the watch a certain lightness and practicality.
