Azza Fahmy’s Long-Awaited Autobiography Has Launched Exclusively at THAT Concept Store

After three years of anticipation, Azza Fahmy has launched her autobiography in Dubai. Exclusively available at THAT Concept Store, the luxury fashion and lifestyle destination from Majid Al Futtaim, customers can now find the autobiography on bookshelves to discover the inspirational designer’s growth into a jewellery pioneer.

Written in colloquial Arabic, ‘Never Ending Dreams’ walks the reader through a historical and educational journey in parallel to Fahmy’s personal experience. The 400 page tell-all took 30 drafts to complete and gives an insight into the different chapters of the 76-year old’s life as a daughter, sister, apprentice, explorer, mother, expert craftsman, and grandmother.

Fahmy realised her passion for jewellery through a German book, which she found by chance at the first book fair held in Cairo; that’s when she headed to Khan Al-Khalili to learn the craft. For eight years, she worked in the State Information Service in the morning and was learning at Khan Al-Khalili in the evening, until she became the first female goldsmith with a professional license. Years passed and Fahmy became a pioneer in designing jewellery in Egypt and the Arab world.

The autobiography as well as Azza Fahmy’s collection of luxury jewellery is exclusively housed in THAT Concept Store, which has locations in both Mall of the Emirates and City Centre Mirdif.
