The Bally Winter Capsule explores the timeless allure of alpine glamour and reimagines it for the present day. Born in Switzerland in 1851, the luxury brand draws on its deep reverence for the mountains to offer a fresh vision of the lifestyles of the well-traveled, with a modern focus on a distinctly European sense of luxury.
Inspired by the iconic history of fashionable ski resorts such as St. Moritz and Cortina d’Ampezzo—a world of destination dressing is reinterpreted for today.
Classic styles come in playful proportions, such as shrunken cable knit sweaters in wool and cashmere for women, ready to be worn with vintage-inspired ski pants and snow boots featuring Bally’s rubber curling soles, the ideal accompaniments for effortless aprés-ski gatherings or cold days in the city.
For men, a polished marine blue puffer jacket elevated with the Bally Ribbon, as well as graphic sweaters that recall alpine scenes from the brand’s rich history, serve as highlights in a capsule that pays tribute to the mountain landscape. There is further consideration for function as well as form, with weekender and belt bags rendered in neoprene with leather finishing.
Color plays an important role, be it the lilac ski-pants that evoke the ’70s-era or the crushed berry hue showcased in a puffer vest of note, all of which are complemented by winter essentials in neutral tones of bone, black and navy.
Completing the capsule are ski-goggle shades accented with the Bally logo and a selection of luxurious wool hats and other accessories, with the combination of technical fabrics alongside natural materials offering a versatile approach to embrace the elements.
This capsule offers a myriad of pieces to be juxtaposed and layered in interesting ways, whether for hitting the slopes or for winter city adventures.
