Jasmin Larrian Hekmat channels her deepest feelings of grief and healing through her talent and creativity. The collection takes inspiration from her grandmother, Mommy Aghdas, whose passing informed the designer’s previous collection, Shirzan. Titled Behesht, the Persian word for heaven, this collection is about the phase that comes after hardship; imagining paradise not as the absence of hardship, but as what emerges from it.

The collection moves into shades of green, sky blue, red, and ultimately soft pinks, mirroring the journey toward renewal and a garden in bloom. Behesht brings together delicate, fluid elements with structured, architectural forms. Signature Chintz Plissé is reimagined through architectural basketweaves, while structured cottons contrast with silk jacquards and rustic knits. Airy silks are frayed and fringed, while hand-painted silk and organza petals create sculptural, layered blooms.

 

Sheer organza is layered and stacked to create structure that transforms with movement, while metallic wool is woven into tweed and custom hammered rings create pieces that balance protection and fragility. Some ring constructions feature more than 2,000 individually hand-assembled rings.

Accessories continue this tension between softness and strength, combining sculptural wooden heels, metallic crinkle leather, marbled acrylic, hammered metals, antique silver paillettes, and stone details. Across the collection, unyielding materials are transformed into fluid, organic forms - reinforcing the central idea that beauty and life can emerge from even the most difficult places.

Hair looks were inspired by the idea of undone beauty, with hairstylist Karim Belghiran for TRESemmé creating hair that plays with contrast between release and restraint: soft, whispery texture worn loose for an effortless, undone quality, balanced by a low, knotted ponytail that turns length into the styling statement itself.

 

Led by makeup artist Raoul Alejandre, models wore fresh, sun-drenched makeup looks created exclusively using Lisa Eldridge, with luminous skin and a generous wash of warm, diffused blush swept across the cheeks and nose. Sheer and glossy lips in soft nude and rosy tones completed the look, creating a flushed, sensual finish that felt undone, yet deliberate.

The most fascinating thing about healing is that it does not return you to who you were, it grows you into someone you could not have become without the loss. Behesht is about this journey, and finds an instant connection with anyone who has ever found beauty after loss.
