Inspired by the Japanese God of the Day, KIRA’s exclusive weekday lunch invites guests to pause in the stillness of the afternoon and savour a refined menu of Mediterranean and Japanese inspired dishes.

This summer, KIRA unveils its Hirugami Lunch Menu, a limited weekday offering inspired by Hirugami, the Japanese God of the Day. Designed to capture the serene beauty of pausing at the peak of afternoon, the menu balances Mediterranean and Japanese influences and features a thoughtful selection of dishes that reflect seasonal freshness and graceful craftmanship.

Available Monday to Friday, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm, the Hirugami Lunch Menu honours simplicity and sophistication, and invites guests to choose between two lunch experiences: the full Hirugami Lunch Menu or the lighter Hirugami Express.

Guests embarking on the full menu, can begin their culinary journey with a choice of two soups: a light Miso Soup or a Lobster Bisque. This is followed by two starters, with highlights including Hamachi Carpaccio drizzled with lemon thyme ponzu and garnished with delicate kumquat and jalapeños, Ginger Salmon Teriyaki Skewers, and enticing Truffle Wagyu Gyozas.

The experience concludes with a choice of main course, a classic Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe offering comfort in its simplicity; Fish of the Day, oven-roasted with fennel and lemon for a lighter seasonal touch; Woodfire Roasted Lobster served with a peri peri beurre blanc for a more generous portion; or Wagyu Tenderloin prepared with miso brown butter for an indulgent finish. This full experience is priced at AED 255.

For those seeking a shorter experience, the Hirugami Express Menu present a curated pairing of Miso Soup and a main course, offering the essence of the menu’s seasonal approach, and priced at AED 140.

To complete the lunch on a sweet note, guests are invited to choose from an array of delights including the signature Kokuto Crème Caramel, a warm Hazelnut Coulant with vanilla ice cream, or a refreshing Exotic Fruit Salad, for an additional AED25.

The exclusive lunch experience can also be complemented with a choice of Light Bites from the à la carte menu, in addition to a touch of sparkle, with a selection of champagnes and wines, available by the glass or bottle, perfect to elevate the midday moment.
