Delna Mistry Anand: Going back to the beginning, INSTYTUTUM was born from a gap you identified in clinical practice, tell us what were you seeing that the industry wasn't?
Dr. Nataliia Bobok: Even the most advanced in-clinic aesthetic procedures tend to deliver only temporary improvements if skin is not supported daily with the right home care, because long-term outcomes depend on consistency and biology, not interventions alone. That was the gap. The brand was shaped from the outset by a medical R&D mindset, rooted in pharmaceutical-grade rigour and longevity science, treating skin not as a cosmetic surface but as a biological system influenced by inflammation, oxidative stress, barrier integrity and cellular repair.
DMA: Before INSTYTUTUM, you built Hyalual into a global presence across more than fifty countries. What made you walk away from that and build something entirely separate?
NB: At one point, I considered developing a skincare line under the Hyalual umbrella, but ultimately made a decisive strategic choice to separate the two directions. This separation enabled a clearer positioning and avoided forcing consumer skincare into an injectable-medicine framework. From the beginning, development was anchored in Switzerland, while the United States served as a primary benchmark market due to its results-oriented consumers and scepticism toward empty marketing claims, raising the internal standard for formulation performance and communication
DMA: You describe your customers as "skin intellectuals." Who exactly is she, and what does she ask of you?
NB: The brand was built for demanding consumers who read labels, understand ingredients, and expect measurable results, while doctors and medical professionals remained a core constituency. Today, the customer base spans multiple continents and includes highly educated consumers, busy women seeking efficient expert-backed routines and a visible cohort of public figures, united by one requirement: formulas that truly work.
DMA: Eleven years in, you made the decision to rebrand into a Longevity System. What shifted in your thinking, and why now?
NB: After more than a decade of longevity-focused exploration, we arrived at a deeper insight: skin is not a standalone system but a mirror of what is happening inside the body. As stress, environmental pressures, and lifestyle factors increasingly shape not only appearance but cellular aging, the brand direction evolved from high-performance skincare into a broader longevity framework aimed at addressing underlying biological drivers rather than only surface-level outcomes. This shift is expressed through a rebrand into a Longevity System by Dr. Nataliia Bobok, designed to make longevity more accessible and structured as a daily practice, rather than a fragmented concept reserved for elite clinics.
DMA: What does the phrase ‘skin as a mirror of the body’ actually look like in practice?
NB: Longevity has long existed behind closed doors -complex, fragmented and accessible to a privileged few. INSTYTUTUM is turning longevity into a controllable system: not a promise, but a daily practice that helps redefine how aging is understood, measured, and influenced at the cellular level. Longevity is no longer an abstract, elite scientific discipline or a distant laboratory paradigm. Longevity is the future of beauty, and INSTYTUTUM is building the system that defines it.
DMA: What makes the Future-Driven Skincare genuinely different from everything else currently on the market?
NB: The efficacy of a skincare product is not defined by individual active ingredients alone.
