Zegna unveils the latest addition to its lineup: the Triple Stitch SECONDSKIN -a shoe that offers an unparalleled glove-like fit. Since its debut in 2014, the Triple Stitch has become a cornerstone of Zegna’s contemporary wardrobe, celebrated for its exceptional softness, lightness, and extraordinary flexibility.

As Alessandro Sartori, Zegna's Creative Director, states, "The Triple Stitch luxury shoe is one of the most pleasure re-inventing products as we reimagine it every season in new colors and materials. Launched in 2014, this iconic shoe has become a global success for ZEGNA as it’s made for anytime and anywhere and it’s celebrated for its softness, lightness, and remarkably flexible construction."

This season, the Italian brand takes it a step further with the Spring/Summer 2024 release of the Triple Stitch SECONDSKIN. Sartori describes this innovation as the result of "a harmonious balance between design and craftsmanship- innovation and tradition. SECONDSKIN had its genesis in audacious intuition: using glove leather to craft a shoe. A daring concept that proved immensely successful, the resulting Triple Stitch SECONDSKIN fits like a glove- embodying the pinnacle of luxury itself."

The SECONDSKIN material, originally developed for glove making, found an unexpected application in footwear through Zegna’s unique environment of innovation and artisanal expertise. Each Triple Stitch SECONDSKIN shoe is crafted with the utmost care, using the finest New Zealand calf leather and advanced ovine tanning techniques. This results in a material that is exceptionally soft, lightweight, and resistant to creasing, offering a personalized fit that improves with every wear. In fact, SECONDSKIN's leather thickness is only 0.8mm, each shoe comprises 68 components, and it involves 13 artisans who have undergone 12 months of training to be able to work on the creation of these sneakers.

Manufactured in Zegna’s Parma, Italy, factory, SECONDSKIN elevates the Triple Stitch Shoe to unprecedented heights.
