The path to wellness began far from the kitchen for Maria Galabova, founder of Keto Kartel. With degrees in Politics, Sociology and Law, Maria built her early career in government and diplomacy, from Bulgaria’s Ministry of Economy to a posting in Belgium. But after years in the world of policy, Maria was seeking something deeper. “Children and adults alike should be able to celebrate life moments with treats that don’t compromise their health,” she believed.
Upon moving to Dubai in 2019, her lifestyle began to evolve into a discovery of the keto philosophy, and in 2021 she transformed not just her personal wellbeing but also her professional purpose. And Keto Kartel was born in 2024. The Dubai-born brand merges European craftsmanship with clean, premium ingredients, creating artisan breads, luxury cakes and bespoke chocolates that are sugar-free, gluten-free and guilt-free. “This is about more than food,” Maria says. “It’s about creating a movement where happiness, peace, health and well-being coexist.”
Raised in a family of medical professionals, Maria’s vision aligns closely with the UAE’s commitment to public health and reducing lifestyle-related diseases. Keto Kartel stands at the intersection of indulgence and integrity, redefining luxury through nourishment.
