As Art Dubai takes centre stage from 18th to 20th April, Le Clos, the region’s distinguished purveyor of fine wines and luxury spirits, is proud to unveil ‘L’Art de Vivre by Le Clos’ – an ephemeral exhibition hosted in collaboration with Ruinart at its Emirates Hills boutique. This exclusive showcase is a tribute to the art of living, bringing together a curated collection of fine wines and luxury spirits, expressed through the lenses of art, fashion, and craftsmanship.
Ruinart x Le Clos: Bringing ‘Conversations with Nature’ to the Boutique
In partnership with Ruinart, the world’s oldest Champagne house and a leading sponsor of Art Dubai, Le Clos will transform its Emirates Hills boutique with an immersive brand takeover from April 16 to June 1. A custom installation inspired by Ruinart’s renowned Conversations with Nature project will be displayed throughout the boutique, including on the glass façade of La Réserve—an exclusive area within the boutique that showcases Le Clos’ finest range of exceptional wines and champagnes, meticulously preserved in a temperature-controlled environment. This installation reflects Ruinart’s enduring commitment to sustainability and artistry, inviting visitors to contemplate the balance between humanity and the natural world.
Inside, the full Ruinart range will be available to explore and purchase, including the iconic Ruinart Blanc de Blancs, an elegant expression crafted solely from Chardonnay, celebrated for its brightness, delicacy, and the unique character of its terroirs, as well as the Ruinart Brut, Rosé, and the exceptional Dom Ruinart 2010.
Boutique Exhibition: A Gallery of Fine Wine and Luxury Spirits
In addition to the Ruinart showcase, the boutique will host a selection of carefully selected products across the space, each telling a unique story of artistry, rarity, and innovation.
These include a blend of limited-edition collaborations, iconic vintages, and artist-inspired creations – from Glenmorangie’s partnership with floral artist Azuma Makoto, to The Macallan’s collaboration with Stella McCartney and Château Mouton Rothschild’s label by Jeff Koons. Other notable highlights include Sine Qua Non’s sought-after Distenta series, Dictador’s vibrant Mopa Mopa and Richard Orlinski collections, and the vibrant spirit of Malfy Gin x Missoni.
Every item on display will be available for purchase, either in-store or via the Le Clos Private Client team. To accompany each purchase, clients will receive a limited edition A2 artwork print, specially commissioned by Le Clos for the L’Art de Vivre campaign. These prints serve as a lasting memento of the campaign’s celebration of elegance, creativity, and exceptional taste. As several features in the collection are of extremely limited availability, collectors are encouraged to visit early to secure their selections.
Ruinart Lounge at Art Dubai: A Thought-Provoking Artistic Dialogue
Ruinart’s creative journey continues beyond the boutique with a dedicated presence at Art Dubai, where visitors can experience an evocative installation by Swiss-born, Berlin-based artist Julien Charrière, as part of the Maison’s ongoing initiative, Conversations with Nature.
These artistic exchanges are hosted in cultural capitals across the globe, before ultimately converging at Ruinart’s historic home in the Champagne region, 4 Rue des Crayères, where the luminous spirit of Chardonnay continues to inspire.
For this edition, Julien Charrière presents an installation that pays tribute to the Lutetian Sea, which submerged the Champagne region 45 million years ago, leaving behind the legendary chalk Crayères – Ruinart’s iconic underground cellars. Through a series of photolithographs, Charrière captures the fragile beauty of coral reefs, drawing a profound connection between geological history and today’s urgent need for marine conservation.
His digital prints, created using pigments derived from local limestone and crushed coral, reimagine natural hues with a delicate and immersive aesthetic. This unique material process connects the Champagne terroir’s prehistoric origins with the present-day environmental narrative, inviting viewers to reflect on the interplay between land, memory, and fragility.
