Together, Valentino and Belletrist have found nine indie bookstores across the United States to partner with, donating a fee to support them and placing the campaign in their front windows. From April 21-28, customers are invited to visit any of the nine bookstores to see the posters, and take home a personal-sized one themselves, along with a special ValentinoxBelletrist tote bag.
Valentino has long been a supporter and active participant in the literary community, and “Valentino Collezione Milano: The Narratives” is the first-ever campaign that takes the written word and brings it front and center, doing away with imagery altogether in the name of the lit erary arts.
ValentinoxBelletrist has given the Maison the opportunity to work directly with independent bookstores, helping to tell their s tories and bring the c ommunity together.
The posters and tote are available in the following bookstores in the United States, from April 21-28 2021:
Atlanta, GA: For Keeps Books
Bronx, NY: The Lit Bar
Brooklyn, NY: Books Are Magic
Chicago, IL: Semicolon
Los Angeles, CA: Book Soup
Manhattan, NY: Sweet Pickle Books
New Orleans, LA: Baldwin and Company
Washington, D.C.: Loyalty Bookstores
Woodstock, NY: The Golden Notebook
